Lena Schulze-Gabrechten

Lena is a doctoral researcher for the senior professor for Political Science, Administration and Organisation (Prof Dr Jann) at the University of Potsdam and a junior researcher for the German SOG-PRO team. She has studied political science and public administration at Zeppelin University, the University of Bergen and the University of Potsdam and holds an MA in Public Policy and Management from the University of Potsdam. Her dissertation examines the conditions for structural change after crisis in the executive organisation of civil protection. Her work for the SOG-PRO project focuses on the effect of bureaucratic politics on structural choices, the internal structural complexity of ministerial portfolios, and the dynamics of structural change in the executive organisation of civil protection and crisis management.
